Activision: Blizzard working on new IP

We’ve posted about the Activision earnings call a lot today but more news keeps trickling out. Now it’s Blizzard’s turn. Activision’s answer to Darth Vader, CEO Bobby Kotick, jumped in to talk about Bungie and Blizzard. Interestingly, he outlined Blizzard spending huge money on a new IP. Speculation of such a thing came about originally around 2006/7 when Starcraft II… Continue »

Activision’s year

Activision gave an earnings call today for press people to post all the wonderful news they had. However Activision were surprisingly open about their losses and wins. Bungie vs. HipHopGamer

Some time ago some video-games vlogger (video blogger, for those not in the know) decided to post some deflamatory remarks about Bungie, developers of Halo. He made two such videos saying Bungie had wrecked Halo essentially and were inspired by Sony in their methods of development. This is where the problems arise. According to HHG, Bungie confirmed that they used… Continue »

Bungie’s forum is always populated with cool information and tid-bits, but now we can get a nice comparison of Halo: Reach.
