Playstation Conference liveblog

Sony have decided, probably quite bravely, to add a liveblog to tonight’s proceedings. Instead of trapsing around the internet, you can catch it right here in this post at around 8PM Irish time. Sony Press Conference at E3 2010: While you chat, here’s the video live: Watch live video from Bwana on Justin.tv Continue »

Everybody’s Tennis for PSP this...

I’m a huge fan of the Everybody’s Golf series (Hot Shots) it was probably one of the most played games on the PSP, I also got the version for the PS3 and it’s just a fun pick up and play game. So good news that they are now tackling the tennis genre, it won’t be your Virtua Tennis kinda game… Continue »

Apple gains gaming market share

With the app store being so huge, and the iPhone and iPod Touch both selling gangbusters, it’s no surprise that a look into NPD figures show that both Sony and Nintendo need to take Apple seriously in the mobile gaming market, especially with the iPad due to hit shelves next month and Steam coming to OS X too. “It’s clear… Continue »

Motion control for your PSP but not...

When I first played Loco Roco on the PSP, I’m sure like everyone else I thought how much better would this be if you could just tilt the PSP to control your loco roco, years later it seems it is now possible thanks to Datel. A small plugin with oddly goes into the headphone socket will allow you to patch… Continue »

Kevin Butler TeaBags Natal and Wii from...

Kevin Butler VP of ‘realistic movements’ over at Sony has a little something to say about the competitors in the motion control war. Its a relatively hilarious(and out of character) bit of marketing from Sony. Apparently the future is bright for the ‘Move’ in November 2010 and according to Kevin and the handful of millions of gamers who play shooters –… Continue »

Because for one, I’ve no idea about this game, partially because I keep away from anything looking remotely like something a Korean suicide-gamer would enjoy. Not out of some sort of pathetic rally cry to FPS and racing games, ensuring I stay a… Continue »

The wait is nearly over for Sony’s God of War 3 and the game looks like its going to launch from a pile of fantastic scores. Eye of Judgement Legends Review

So it all began in some unspecific time period when the earth was overrun and almost destroyed by an invading race called the Biolith.  The races of the four elements – earth, fire, wood and water all took into hiding before setting upon a quest to find a wizard who could defeat the great Biolith God.  Low and behold a most powerful… Continue »

Killzone 3 in December

Amidst a flurry of rumours and speculation as to a big reveal from Sony regarding a new sequel in 2010 (which ended up being SOCOM 4, by Zipper), one of the hotly-tipped names being thrown around was “Killzone 3″. Killzone 2 was only released a year ago, in February 2009. Why so soon on a new title? Well, Killzone 2… Continue »
