Quantum physics has taken a few leaps & bounds in recent years, not least with quantum levitation (a method of using magnetic power to create virtual tracks that liquid nitrogen-infused metal objects can travel on). The future is bright for transport like rail and even perhaps cars, because non-resistant methods of transport would be cheap in terms of fuel but also very fast!

With this kind of groundbreaking research, it was only a matter of time before the Japanese got involved and did something mad. Like, say, a Wipeout track! Check out the video below of scientists recreating Wipeout. They even commented that they would love to develop this idea further…
