Alien breed Evolution, holiday horror for XBLA

For those of you old enough to remember Alien Breed, it was one of the classic co-op games of the early 90′s.  Team 17 announced a while back that the series was to get a lick of HD paint and a new game engine courtesy of Unreal.

It was meant to be released sometime in 2010 but 360 owners are getting an early Christmas present as the first episode will be available to download from December 16th for 800 points. I have high hopes for this game and will definitely be downloading for the PS3 when its due next year, hope the co-op play lives up to its original.  PC owners don’t dispair this will also be available for you in 2010 sometime.

Here is the trailer.

Jasus yeah remember that it was a classic. Loved my Amiga 500. Does anyone remember a game called Gods. It was a masterpiece. And I also want a remake of Bad Dudes Vs Dragon Ninja. Awesome.

  7. I sure due Abysteel, Bitmap Brothers were responsible for a lot of the classic Amiga games back then, faves of mine were Speedball 2, Magic Pockets and the Chaos Engine.

Speedball 2 is still one of my fav games ever. I often play the remake on Xbox. Finished the league and the knockout. Absoloute classic. Still great even to this day. I actually own the originall on the Master System. Yes I have a Master System!

  9. Cool my first console was a master system! What ever happened to having built-in games :)
