GTA Chinatown wars iPhone
GTA fans will be delighted to note that GTA: Chinatown Wars has been scaled down and ported to the iPhone. The same title and gameplay, art and story stylings as the DS and PSP title, this one lacks some of the pizazz of the “bigger brother” titles that fell short of sales predictions last year.
Graphics have been toned down for the title
Mechanics of the game use the relatively annoying addition of a d-pad and buttons on the screen, rather then using the full capabilities of the touch screen. This could become cumbersome as you play through the title. My relatively small game time has been good fun, but the control scheme could be better for sure. We’ll have a full review at some stage soon, though.
The game is available on the app store now for €7.99, though bear in mind the title is not “featured” yet. You have to manually search for “grand theft auto: chinatown wars”.
