Halo… I mean Bungie day!

For some reason Bungie are celebrating the seventh day, of the seventh month of the seventh year (despite it being 2009).

In celebration, some of the Bungie staffers are out and about in the good territory America humiliating Halo fans around the world, even giving the fans the “advantage” of using custom-made maps, not even those ones that Bungie made. There’ll also be a podcast/videocast and a few other treats over on their website.

To announce “Bungie” day the team also revealed that they Halo 3: ODST release will contain new maps for Halo3, re-created lovingly from Halo2. Midship will be returning to Halo along with Forerunner Citadel and Longshore.

Halo: ODST will be released in September. Incidentally my XBL account runs out in August. Good timing Microsoft…!
