New Neverwinter in 2011
Atari revealed today that a new online co-op Neverwinter game for the PC is to be released in 2011. The game is currently being developed by Cryptic Studios.
The story focuses on a Neverwinter that has faced many great disasters in the last hundred years.
With much of it’s population scattered, different factions are fighting for control of the city and the undead have begun to rise.
Players will be able to choose from five classic D&D classes and team up with other players and computer controlled characters to form five man groups. Players may also create their own quests and storylines “utilizing an extremely user-friendly content generation system, tentatively codenamed Forge.”
The game is scheduled for release in Q4 2011.
